Hi, I’m Dr. Jared Plemon. I have been with the practice 4 years. I was a Dean’s list student at the University of Wisconsin, where I completed my undergraduate studies. I received my Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where I graduated with honors. Postgraduate studies in spinal rehabilitation, geriatrics, and pain management. I am Advanced Proficiency Rated in the Activator Methods Technique and I am also certified in the Atlas Orthogonal technique. I have also participated in a government-sponsored program that sends doctors abroad to provide free care to underprivileged people in rural Brazil. I utilize safe, effective chiropractic care in order to restore proper spine alignment, alleviating pain and improving function. Instead of using medications or surgery, I help my patients by treating the cause of their problem, so the body can heal itself.
I injured my neck while playing football in high school, leaving me in debilitating pain. When two weeks of a combination of stretching, exercises, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories, pain medications and rest failed to solve my problem, I tried chiropractic. Within three days, I was out of pain and back on the field. I learned that if you are to improve the function of the body, you must first improve the structure. Chiropractic should have been my first choice instead of a last resort. As a result of these personal experiences, I have devoted my professional life to helping people understand that chiropractic care can be utilized first for spinal problems, while invasive therapies like drugs and surgery should be the last resort.
Zehr Chiropractic is a fun, positive environment where I get to see true healing occur every day. I enjoy the challenge of helping people improve their quality of life naturally instead of merely covering up the problem. This practice was built on a strong foundation of technique, integrity, and results. I am blessed to be a part of that.
