Introducing....The Activator V !!!

Every year, Dr. Zehr and myself attend a seminar for the Activator Methods chiropractic technique.  Doing so every year keeps us current in the profession in general but also allows us to maintain our “Advanced Proficiency Rating” in the technique.  We brush up on things we have already learned but also learn about new techniques for relieving patients with certain conditions.  For instance, this time around we focused on lower extremity problems (hips, knees, ankles).

It is no secret that there are literally over a dozen chiropractors in the greater Muskegon area that promote the Activator in their offices.  However, we never see them at the seminars.   They are not listed in the directory or on the website.  They are not proficiency rated in the technique.

Now, I could buy a really nice set of tools, but that does not make me a contractor.  Owning a shiny new pair of clippers does not make me a hairstylist.  The Activator instrument has a specific protocol for its use in relieving spinal dysfunction.  Furthermore, if someone is using an Activator without the appropriate training, the patient is NOT benefitting from the same service we provide.

With that out of the way, we are proud to offer our patients the new Activator V!  This new instrument has been designed and rigorously tested to provide a better, more consistent adjustment to the patient.

The Activator V is the first FDA registered and approved cordless chiropractic adjusting instrument.  Instead of the “spring-loaded” mechanism in the previous instruments, the new Activator V uses a revolutionary electronic mechanism in order to produce the thrust.  The force produced by the instrument has been specifically tuned to provider a deeper, more productive adjustment while still remaining very comfortable to the patient.   After over a week of using the new instrument, we have noticed that patients’ adjustments are having more benefit as well as lasting longer!

Hi! I’m Dr. Jeffrey L. Zehr. I have been in practice since 1999 and started my own practice in Muskegon in 2002. I have a Masters in sports medicine and was a certified athletic trainer for 3 years before going back to chiropractic school where I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic (The Fountain Head).
